We are up to Template #12 in the Stampin’ Up! template line-up, and the Adventurous Sky bundle was screaming at me to be used for this one! When I see a giant circle, to me that says focal point. And what better focal point than the amazing airplanes included in the bundle – both stamps and die cuts.

When I set out to make this video, my primary goal was to share how easy this template is to use. As I prepared, though, I was also working on some swap card for a class at the Edison NJ Stamp and Scrapbook Expo happening this week. I was searching for just the right combination of supplies and design, and the circles on this template, along with the excellent focal point opportunity and an amazing video presented by my team member Alyson Ephraim (@alysonstamps on YouTube) let me to create the fun-fold card I also share in the video. Just goes to show how templates can be springboards to many other designs!

• Night of Navy card base – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″
• Basic White – 4 x 5 ¼
• Take to the Sky DSP – 3” x 5 ½” (clouds), 1 3/4” punched circles (3 designs), 2 3/8” punched circle

• Copper Clay card base – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″, with 1 ¼” cut from top of card front (cut piece used for flap)
• Basic White – 4” x 4”, scrap for die cutting
• Take to the Sky – 4” x 4” (clouds), 2 3/8” circle (flight plan), 1” x 4” (copper clay plaid), ½” x 4” (planes)
• Boho Blue – 2” x 4”
• Smoky Slate – 2” x 4”
