It’s been a while since I’ve needed some baby cards, but I happily find myself in that position today! And since I was going to make both a boy and girl card, I figured I’d incorporate it into my weekly Quick Class Live.
I started with the baby boy card. I loved the idea of using the Eyelet 3D embossing folder for these types of cards as it always makes me think of baby clothes. I then pulled out my Storybook Moments designer series papers and chose one of the boyish looking designs – I could have used a plaid from the Timeless Plaid DSP collection, but I did love this design. I added a onesie and a sentiment and voila! The result is the card at the top of this post.
Then I further used the Storybook Moments DSP to make the girl card. I love the many die cuts that are included in this package. I especially love the duck/duckling – doesn’t it make you think of Mother Goose? Again, I used the eyelet background, and added some flowers made with the Petal Park punch and the Bough punch, both of which are on the Last Chance list. I highly recommend grabbing them while you still can!

I hope to see you at a class sometime soon, but you can always find ideas here on my blog as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
