Stampin' Up! Beautifully Celebrated card with Wonderful Thoughts and Peach Pie

If you’re looking for a simple card layout that works with any designer series paper, the Beautifully Celebrated bundle from Stampin’ Up makes it easy to create a clean and versatile floral card you’ll want to use again and again. In this tutorial, I’m sharing a design from one of my Stamp-a-Stack classes that can be adapted for thank you cards, appreciation cards, or any occasion just by changing the paper and sentiment.

Below you can watch the full replay and follow along step by step.

In the video, I walk through the entire cardmaking process and share tips for working with patterned paper, layering elements, and creating a balanced design.

About This Beautifully Celebrated Card Design

What I love most about this card is how adaptable it is.

Once you understand the layout, you can:

  • swap in any designer series paper
  • change the color palette
  • use any sentiment
  • dress it up or keep it simple

It’s a true go-to design when you want something that looks polished but doesn’t require complicated techniques.

This card uses a mix of current favorites and soon-to-retire items:

  • Floral Charm Designer Series Paper
A beautiful floral collection that is still available and works with a variety of color palettes.
  • Peach Pie Cardstock and Ink
One of the current In Colors that will be retiring soon. If you love this soft peach tone, now is a great time to stock up.
  • Gold White Ribbon
Adds subtle texture and helps cover the seam between layers.
  • Beautifully Celebrated Bundle
Used for the label shape and coordinating greenery elements.
  • Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set
Featuring the “You Are Much Appreciated” sentiment used on this card.

Card Design Tips

Here are a few key tips from the tutorial that will help you recreate this card successfully:

1. Use Uneven Layers for Interest

Instead of placing your designer paper exactly halfway up the card, offset it slightly. This creates a more natural and visually pleasing layout.

2. Let Your Paper Do the Work

When you’re using a bold floral designer paper, keep the rest of your elements simple so the pattern can shine.

3. Add Texture with Ribbon

Wrapping ribbon across the seam between layers not only adds texture but also helps visually “anchor” the design.

4. Keep Embellishments Balanced

Use small amounts of greenery behind your focal point to add depth without overwhelming the card.

5. Stamp Background Elements Lightly

Stamping off before adding background images keeps them soft so they don’t compete with your sentiment.

A Note About Retiring Colors

This card features Peach Pie, one of the 2024–2026 In Colors that will be retiring soon with the upcoming catalog change.

If this is a color you love, be sure to grab your favorite cardstock, ink, and embellishments sooner rather than later, as retiring items are only available while supplies last.

Make This Card Your Own

This layout is incredibly flexible.

Try it with:

  • seasonal papers for holiday cards
  • soft florals for spring
  • bold prints for birthdays
  • neutral tones for elegant thank you cards

Once you make it once, you’ll find yourself coming back to this design again and again.
