This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event – an exhilarating convention exclusively for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. Imagine a creative wonderland where like-minded individuals gather to share ideas, explore new products, and, of course, have a fantastic time! One of the most anticipated highlights of this event is the beloved tradition of On Stage card swaps.
For those who may not be familiar, card swaps are a delightful exchange of creativity. They can be done individually, where I craft a unique card and exchange it with someone else for their creation. Alternatively, they can be part of an organized group, where, say, 15 people each make 15 identical cards and swap them amongst the group. This year, I dove headfirst into several organized swaps, and now my collection is brimming with inspiring new cards!
These On Stage swaps are more than just an exchange of paper and ink. They’re a treasure trove of fresh ideas and innovative techniques, sparking endless inspiration for future projects. As I admired each card, I couldn’t help but envision how these designs could influence upcoming class projects and add a new layer of creativity to my work. It’s incredible how one event can rejuvenate your creative spirit and open your mind to new possibilities.
In my Quick Class Live this week, I was thrilled to share one of the cards I made for a swap, guiding viewers step-by-step through the creation process. It was such a joy to showcase the card and dive into the details that make it special. But that wasn’t all – I also shared some of my favorite swaps that I received. Each card was a testament to the talent and creativity of fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, and sharing them felt like passing on a spark of inspiration to you all.
If you missed the live session, no worries! You can catch the replay and immerse yourself in the creative journey we embarked on together. Whether you’re a seasoned stamper or just getting started, I hope these cards inspire you as much as they’ve inspired me. Creativity is all about sharing, learning, and growing, and I’m grateful to be a part of such a vibrant community.
