I’ve been having So. Much. Fun. with the Sale-a-Bration (SAB) 2024 selections! With the theme of this month’s Blog Hop being Sale-a-Bration, I decided to cram in as many projects as possible so you can see the amazing variety and versatility available.
I personally am always attracted to designer series papers (DSP). I find that focusing on them in my in-person and Zoom classes (check out my offerings here) is my best bet because 1) they are always beautiful, and 2) allow class participants to experience lots of images and colors that they may not have (yet!). So, I made sure to get every one of the 5 DSP SAB offerings as soon as I could, and I dedicated myself to making tons of projects using them. And with 2+ weeks of SAB left, you can bet I’m still creating with them!
My favorite DSP from SAB this year has to be Flight & Airy.
I made this card in one of my Quick Classes and it has been my most-viewed video to date! Not only are the birds and leaves beautiful, but I used the Thoughtful Wishes embossing folder/die bundle for the hello, combining them to stunning effect.
This card was also made during a Quick Class featuring not only 3 of the gorgeous designs of the DSP, but a fun fold with a belly band as well!
Next up is a card from my upcoming Zoom class on 2/27 @7 PM ET that uses the Sunny Days DSP. The designs in this DSP are varied and are meant to coordinate with the Bright Skies bundle from the mini catalog. However, they also stand alone! The bright flowers here are my favorite of the designs, and the Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon, also an SAB selection, matches perfectly. And look, the little Pool Party gems are from another SAB offering – the Opaque Faceted Gems! The choices just keep on coming!
The clouds in the background of the card are also from the Sunny Skies DSP, a perfect backdrop to the adorable Trucking Along card to be featured in my Trucking Along Bundle Class next week.
Do you struggle to make manly cards? Look no further than the Trusty Toolbox DSP! There are 4 pages of tools in each package that are very easy to fussy cut, so even if you don’t invest in the coordinating Trusty Tools bundle, you can still make cards like this! We’ll also be making this card in my Zoom class on 2/27 :-).
This card features the Softly Stippled DSP. While I just love the tone of these pool party colors, other pages feature Calypso Coral, Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path which are amazingly neutral and perfect for any occasion. This simple card layout could easily switch palates as I shared in my Quick Class this afternoon.
I could actually go on and on, but you need to get to the other stops on the blog hop! Thanks so much for stopping by the February 2024 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. Be sure to visit all of the blogs on the hop to see a variety of inspiration for your paper crafting projects.
For info about my upcoming in-person and virtual classes, check out my class descriptions here and my calendar here. I hope to see you at a class sometime soon, but you can always find ideas here on my blog as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
Wow! SO many fabulous cards!
I have been enjoying every minute with the SAB selections and had to make sure to get all the ideas out there!
