The brand-new Take to the Sky Suite is perfect for the men in your life! It’s filled with aviation-themed stamps and dies, antiqued silver industrial embellishments, and crafting paper with topographical maps, blueprints, clouds, and complementary designs. Use it to create all-occasion, Father’s Day, veteran, or adventure-themed cards, gift tags, paper packaging, and more. Die cut clouds and planes from the patterned paper or use the paper as a background to your creations. Design your own planes with stamps, dies, and embellishments, or keep things simple by pairing the paper with the included sentiments. Whatever you create, this suite can help your loved ones channel their inner pilot!
This easy collage card uses many of the fabulous designs in the Designer Series Paper (DSP). I love that it came together quickly and shows off the great non-aviation designs as well as the adorable planes. The sentiment can easily be switched out to another to be good for most occasions.
Instead of using the (really cute) industrial trinkets which are currently out of stock, I used the equally perfect Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls to draw the eye around the card. These will be great for any style card, and a bit less bling-y than using Rhinestones.
Do you like this card design? If so, you can try it with different DSP to create a completely different feel! Here’s a card with the same “sketch” using the Lily Pond Lane DSP. Give it a try!
