Two Lovely Christmas Cards with Traditional Labels

Stampin' Up! Traditional Labels cards for Christmas with Old Olive and Real Red

My Quick Class Live today featured two cards made with the Traditional Labels bundle. It combines beautiful Christmas sentiments with creative label die cuts to make the perfect focal point for your holiday cards.

Today’s cards are two Christmas cards that were part of my Ultimate Christmas Card Class. This class featured 10 unique card designs (two of each) for a total of 20 cards. The kits for that class have all been delivered, but if you missed out, don’t worry — you can still purchase the tutorial bundle (PDF plus videos) for just $10. It includes all ten designs and step-by-step video instructions.

👉 You can find the tutorial link here.

Featuring the Traditional Labels Bundle from Stampin’ Up!

Both of these cards use the Traditional Labels Bundle, part of the Traditions of Christmas Suite from the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog. This bundle includes beautiful label dies that are perfect for sentiments all year long, and coordinating stamps with elegant fonts and seasonal greetings.

The dies themselves are truly versatile. Some include delicate cut lines and textures that add wonderful detail to your projects. You can even layer them for added depth or mix colors for a custom look. I love that the Traditional Labels Dies can be used far beyond the holidays — they’re fantastic for birthday cards, thank you cards, and more.

Card 1: Fun Fold Christmas Card

The first card I shared in my live video is a simple fun fold design that uses the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I trimmed one inch off the card front and turned that piece into a little flap or “latch” that helps the card close — such a clever and easy technique!

The sentiment “’Tis the Season” is stamped in Real Red ink, and I finished the card with a few sequins arranged in a visual triangle to draw the eye around the design.

📏 All the measurements for this card are listed below.

Card 2: Elegant Pine and Snowflake Card

The second card is even quicker to make! It uses a Crumb Cake card base with Very Vanilla layers and Designer Series Paper from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes collection. The color combo is festive yet elegant — a mix of Shaded Spruce, Real Red, and Secret Sea (one of this year’s gorgeous In Colors).

I stamped my sentiment using the Modern Ornament stamp set, but you could easily swap in any of the greetings from the Traditional Labels Bundle. The sentiment is die-cut with one of the label dies and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish, I added a gold-trimmed bow made from Black, White & Gold Specialty Twine and another set of Sparkling Sequins for that finishing touch.
