New Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Positioner and a Friendly Foliage Card
Feb 13, 2026
Stampin' Up! Stampin' Positioner used to make card using Friendly Foliage bundle

In this week’s live cardmaking tutorial, I featured the new Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Positioner while creating a clean and simple Friendly Foliage Get Well card. If you’ve been curious about how this new tool works—or you love clean and simple handmade cards—this project is a great one to try.

This elegant Get Well Soon card features the Friendly Foliage bundle, layered die cuts, and a soft, calming color palette. It’s a simple design, but there is one tricky step, and in the video I walk you through exactly how to handle it for the best results.

Featured Tool: Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Positioner

During the live, I demonstrated the new Stampin’ Positioner, a stamping platform designed to help you get precise, consistent results every time.

Here’s what makes it helpful:

  • A sturdy platform that keeps your stamp in the same position
  • Spring-loaded pressure for even stamping
  • Thin, easy-to-handle magnets to hold cardstock in place
  • Optional grid paper for accurate alignment
  • Ability to re-ink and stamp again in the exact same spot

This is especially useful when working with detailed images or when you want a perfectly stamped sentiment.

At the time of this live, the Stampin’ Positioner was available as a bonus item in the Starter Kit promotion, making it a great time to consider joining. Check out the details and benefits to being a Jersey Stampers (and Beyond) team member here.

Cardmaking Tutorial: Friendly Foliage Get Well Card

This project uses the Friendly Foliage bundle to create a dimensional focal point with layered die cuts. The design is clean and simple, but the detailed foliage gives it a sophisticated look.

Techniques featured in this card:

  • Precision stamping with the Stampin’ Positioner
  • Layered die cutting for dimension
  • Cutting out negative space for a delicate foliage effect
  • Clean and simple card layout with subtle color contrast

One of the dies in the Friendly Foliage bundle cuts out the negative space between the leaves and branches. This creates a beautiful, airy look—but it can take a little practice to line up correctly.

Helpful tips from the live:

  • Focus on keeping the outer outline straight first
  • Use washi tape to hold the die in place before cutting
  • After cutting, use a take-your-pick tool or brush to remove any small pieces stuck in the die

These small adjustments make a big difference in the final result.
