A Chanukah (Hanukkah) Card & A Little Lesson

Stampin' Up! Chanukah card made with Celebrate the Miracle stamp set in blue, white and silver

I need to start making my Chanukah cards, although I do have a little more time this year as the holiday doesn’t begin until Christmas night! There’s a whole long reason for why it’s at a different time each year, all having to do with a lunar calendar and other details. But I do enjoy celebrating my holiday at the same time as many others are celebrating theirs!

Anyway, I pulled out my Celebrate the Miracle stamp set to begin to play with it again. It was released last year and resides on the Online Exclusives section of my online store. Since I hadn’t used it since last year, it was like starting over which is always fun.

I knew I wanted to use the menorah as I feel it is the most meaningful representation of the holiday. And who can resist pretty colored candles! The stamp set is designed to make creating it very easy, a feature for which I have been looking for years.

Check out not only how to make the card, but also some key facts about Chanukah (like why Chanukah and not Hanukkah) in this video replay of my Quick Class #105:
