I’ve had the Autumn to Remember scrapbook kit on my desk for several weeks. My latest Quick Class was happening the day before Thanksgiving and I was knee deep in preparing to host a bunch of family. As host, I rarely take photos anymore as I’m just too busy. Not this year! I challenged myself to make a scrapbook page in advance to ensure I would take photos to put on the page.
Using the Autumn to Remember scrapbook kit from Stampin’ Up!, I was able to create a lovely two-page 12×12 spread that required 5 photos. By knowing the sizes of the photos and the orientation, I was able to make sure I took pictures that would fit. However, no one’s perfect and I just couldn’t squeeze that last person in, so I added her as the centerpiece!
Most importantly, I documented the names of who was there. I will also be going back to add a little more journaling to the first page, but essentially, I sent the pictures to Walgreens after dinner and picked them up this morning. I cut them to size, and now I have a finished project.
And why yes, I AM wearing my traditional turkey headband – keeps my hair out of the food and makes everyone smile (or roll their eyes, primarily my kids). But anytime I caught sight of my reflection, it startled me!
Check out how easy it was to make these pages:
