Using an unusual color palette allows the Painted Lavender bundle from Stampin’ Up! to really scream “Spring!” In the mini catalog, the Perennial Lavender suite uses shades of purple to fabulous effect. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t use other colors!
By using Calypso Coral, Boho Blue, Petal Pink and Misty Moonlight, this card becomes bright and cheerful in a very different way than using shades of purple. I’ll be trying this with more colors to see what I can make!

Painted Lavender Card Measurements:
- Calypso Coral – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, score at 4 ¼”, scrap for foliage
- Boho Blue – 4” x 5 ¼”, 2 ½” x 5”
- Basic White – 2 ½” x 5”, scrap
- Misty Moonlight and Petal Pink – scraps for foliage
Instructions:
- Emboss small layer of Boho Blue and add to bottom of large Boho Blue layer.
- Ink foliage images in Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight and Calypso Coral and stamp randomly along the layer of white. Add the splatter from Irresistible Blooms with Petal Pink ink and add to the Boho Blue layer.
- Wrap seam with Misty ribbon and add to card base with dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral ink on scrap white, crop with coordinating postage die and add to card where shown.
- Crop foliage pieces from Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Misty Moonlight, trim stems and add to sentiment.
- Tie a bow with the Linen Thread and add to foliage with a glue dot.
