What’s better than a handmade box? A self-closing box that’s cute and easy to assemble — no fiddly lid required!

I’ll admit, I don’t make boxes often… mostly because I always struggle with getting the top just right. But that frustration is gone thanks to this brilliant self-closing design we learned at Stampin’ Up!’s recent Creativity Now demonstrator event — and I couldn’t wait to share it with you!

I used the Florals in Bloom Suite for this project, and I love how the bold, happy colors work for any occasion. Whether you’re hosting a lunch, setting up a craft table, or making party favors, this little box adds the perfect handmade touch.

The “Thank You” sentiment from the With You in Mind stamp set finishes it off beautifully — simple, thoughtful, and sweet.

Just so you know — this box fits 6 Hershey’s Nuggets perfectly, as does a standard gift card! Add some chocolate, a little confetti, and/or a gift card and you’ve got an adorable, useful gift in a self-closing box anyone would love to receive.
