Wildly Flowering DSP & Debossing for Great Cards

Stampin' Up! Wildly Flowering DSP used on a Moody Mauve card base with a thinking of you greeting. Ad for the video from 5/22/24

I couldn’t wait to use the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper (DSP), so I focused on it for my first lesson using the fabulous templates in the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 catalog on page 22. My Quick Class on 5/22/24 shows how to use the first template with the Wildly Flowering DSP as the focal point.

In addition, at about the 13-minute mark, you can see me discuss “debossing”, where you use your ink pad to rub ink on the raised inside side of your embossing folder. I used our Basic White Craft ink to do it, so I suggest running it through a few times (I did it 3 times). It gives such a cool look, and here I’ve replaced the DSP with the debossed panel:

  • Moody Mauve Card Base – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ folded at 4 1/4″
  • Wildly Flowering DSP – 3” x 4” (pattern 1), 3” x 4” (pattern 2), 1 ½” x 2” (pattern 1)
  • Basic White  – 4” x 5 ¼”
